Kenneth S. Wood, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology Lic# AU3969
Kenneth holds a Doctorate degree in Audiology and is a licensed Audiologist. He was born in Paradise, Ca., and moved with his family to Yuba City where his father opened a frame shop in the Hillcrest Plaza. Kenneth attended Yuba City High School and worked at Round Table Pizza, where he met his future wife. He enjoys playing the drums, collecting Legos, spending time with friends and family, in particular his son Everett. He also enjoys getting to know each and every one of his patients and helping them find the best solution to their hearing health needs.
Mei-Ling Miller, Au.D.
Audiologist, Lic. AU 2891
Mei-Ling holds a Doctorate degree in Audiology and is a licensed Audiologist who is passionate about providing the best hearing healthcare possible. She lives in Chico, CA with her husband and three children. As a hearing aid user herself, she identifies with her patients and is able to bring her unique perspective to help others with similar needs. She looks forward to helping you with all your hearing challenges.
Kim Walker
Front Office/General Manager
Kim is our Front Office/General Manager. She is the “hub” and helps with everything concerning the day-to-day operations of the office. She takes great pride in her job and gives personal and highly individualized attention to each client that comes through the door. Kim is from Texas, but has settled in the Yuba-Sutter area.

Front Office
Brittany is our Front Desk Coordinator and has been a great addition to our New Wave Hearing Team. She has been an active member of the Yuba Sutter community for 20 years. She spent her childhood in Michigan then moved out west to enjoy the California sunshine. She has been happily married for 10 years and has 3 busy daughters. When she is not traveling for softball tournaments, driving to various practices, attending school events, or working a shift at Pasquini's, she really enjoys having a good meal out with friends. She looks forward to helping our wonderful patients with all their hearing aids needs!
Aubrey Lee
Audiologist Assistant
Aubrey wears many hats in the Chico office. She oversees all front office operations to keep the office running smoothly. In addition, she is an Audiology Assistant, which allows her to assist our patients with all drop in needs such as routine cleanings, diagnostics, and in-office repair of hearing aids. She is a familiar face in the office as well as the community, as she was previously part of North State Audiological Services for 11 years. She is proud of her expertise in the hearing healthcare space and is looking forward to serving our community for years to come. Outside of the office, she is a mother to two growing girls, who keep her busy with both sports and social calendars. She enjoys working out, enjoying time with family and friends and escaping town for mini weekend getaways.
Maleya Casteneda
Lab Manager
Maleya is our Yuba city Lab Manager; she is currently studying to be an Audiologist Assistant and has degrees in Health Science and Medical Administration. Maleya is driven by helping others and serving her community, which she displays when she volunteers her time. Helping people is Maleya’s greatest motivation and she will always go above and beyond for all our patients. She prides herself in treating everyone like family and always brings a smile to our patients' faces with her positive demeanor.
